Welcome to Old Bergen Church!
The Old Bergen Church (OBC) was founded in 1660 by the early Dutch settlers in Hudson County. It is one of the oldest churches in the state, and remains the longest continuous congregation in New Jersey. The OBC congregation is a union of Reformed Church in America (RCA) and Presbyterian (PCUSA).
OBC is celebrating its 350th anniversary in 2010! That's three and a half centuries of spreading the Good News through the Reformed tradition! As OBC prepares for this celebration, it aims to revitalize its relevance in the community and its membership; emphasizing that God through Jesus Christ remains our steadfast, guiding light in this ever-changing world. Come celebrate with us!
